Jaroměř Railway Station
Craftsmanship in a space for travellers.
In 2025, we made and installed wall panelling, benches, doors and other coordinated interior elements for Jaroměř Railway Station. The commission focused on the waiting room and station hall, where the individual pieces come together to shape the character of the space.
Panelling that brings the interior together
Vertical panelling is complemented by profiled mouldings and a continuous top moulding. These details continue around corners, door openings and other parts of the building. During installation, maintaining an unbroken line was essential, even where the shape of the wall changed.
Precision where the pieces meet
Corner joints, end-to-end connections and the ends of mouldings require careful machining and fitting on site. A close view of the panelling shows how the profiles and grain meet at an edge and continue onto the adjoining surface.
A bespoke bench for the waiting room
An oval bench provides seating on both sides of a shared backrest. Horizontal boards across the seat and back are complemented by rounded ends. This distinctive freestanding piece belongs in its surroundings while serving the daily life of the station.
