Respect for wood. Care in every detail.

Made in the Krkonoše foothills since 2015.

Furniture for generations

We make furniture and timber joinery for the spaces they belong in and the people who will use them. We care about the materials, construction and finish, from choosing the timber to the final adjustments on site.

Our roots are in the Krkonoše foothills

Since 2015, we have been making bespoke furniture and timber joinery in the foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains. Many of our projects are in Prague, where we carry out both site surveys and installation. In the workshop, we combine traditional joinery with the precision of modern technology. Whether we are making a single piece of furniture, furnishing an apartment or working on a historic building, we give the same care to the timber, joints and finishing.

What our work is built on

Wood with character

We choose each timber species to suit its use, the desired appearance and the setting. As we lay out the components, we consider grain, colour and fibre direction, bringing the individual surfaces together as a considered whole.

The right joint for the job

Mortise-and-tenon joints, box joints, dovetails and dovetailed battens each have their place, depending on the construction. Traditional joinery belongs in contemporary furniture too, creating strong structures that work with the natural properties of wood.

Precision, finished by hand

Modern machinery and CNC machining help us achieve accurate dimensions and complex shapes. Hand work follows: refining the components, sanding, checking the joints and assembling the piece. It is the finishing that brings everything together.

Details matter

Continuous grain, even gaps, a clean corner joint and an edge that feels right to the touch. These are the details we look after. You notice them up close, every time you touch or use a piece.

A finish that brings out the wood

We mainly use natural-based oil finishes, including Rubio Monocoat. These bring out the grain and leave a surface that feels pleasant to the touch. We choose each finish to suit the timber, its use and the care it will need. For coloured or opaque finishes, we also use suitable lacquer systems.

Quality on the inside, too

Strong furniture starts with sound construction and accurately fitted joints. Depending on the application, we use mortise-and-tenon joints, box joints, dovetails or dovetailed battens, allowing for the natural movement of wood. We give equal care to the fittings, including Blum hinges and drawer systems, with soft closing where appropriate. Accurate installation and adjustment ensure that doors, drawers and lift-up fronts are comfortable to use every day.

The job is finished on site

We deliver the finished piece and install it in its intended space. Our work regularly takes us into apartments, houses and public buildings. During installation, we check the fit, adjoining elements, gaps and operation of the fittings. A job is only complete when everything works together in the space it was made for.

With respect for wood and a commitment to craftsmanship
