Doors & architraves
Doors that belong in their surroundings.
The space comes first
We choose proportions, materials and architraves to suit the setting and how the doors will be used.
Options
Interior doors
For living spaces and shared areas, from understated solid door leaves to glazed doors that connect an interior.
Entrance doors
For apartments and houses. Alongside appearance, we consider protection, durability and the conditions where the doors will be installed.
Historic doors & gates
Restoration of original joinery and faithful reproductions, with close attention to the original layout, mouldings and character of the building.
Door frames & architraves
For doors and open passageways alike. We also make frames and surrounds as separate commissions, from simple lines to more elaborate joinery.
Interior doors
Privacy, light and an easy passage between rooms.
Appearance
Solid or glazed, flush or panelled. The timber species, grain and finish complete the character of the door.
Opening
Hinged or sliding. We choose the opening system to suit the layout, furniture and available space around the door.
Door & frames
Rebated or flush-fitting. We coordinate the door leaf, frame, hinges and fittings.
Interior door gallery
Entrance doors
An entrance that welcomes and protects.
Appearance & construction
Solid or glazed, contemporary or traditional. We adapt the construction and finish to the door's position within the building or its exposure to the weather.
Fire resistance
We consider fire-resistant doors according to the building's requirements. The specific fire classification is confirmed against the documented performance of the selected doorset.
Security
We discuss the required security class during design. Our proposal is based on the documented resistance of the complete assembly: door, frame and fittings.
